Thank you for supporting my fundraising efforts for Parkinson's UK.  This is a charity close to my heart, where this debilitating disease has greatly effected my family in recent times.

Parkinson's is the fastest growing neurological condition in the world. And there is no cure. We are getting closer to major breakthroughs and your donation will help get us there quicker.

I have been involved in a lot of sporting events over the years, mainly running, and rarely ask for charitable donations.  This challenge however will test my fitness and resolve to the limit.  With about 40 miles of cycling completed in the last 10 years I really do not know whether I can complete this challenge, but your support will help greatly in getting me to the finish line.

So what is the challenge?  The Deloitte Ride Across Britain (RAB) 2021 is a 9 day, 980 mile event in which I will get on my bike and cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats.  We shall be traversing the length of the country taking in the beautiful British countryside as we go (and no doubt experience the extremes of the British maritime weather).  It is not an easy challenge, one that takes many months of training and hard work.... so anything you can give to support me on this journey would mean the world.
