I have always wanted to sail across the Atlantic (no idea why!) and, thanks to the Clipper Round the World Race, I'll be doing just that in the Summer. 

The Clipper fleet of 12 boats left London in August and are due to set sail for the last leg from New York on 20th June, arriving back in St Katherine Docks on 30th July.  A number of the crew on board Unicef  have been sailing round the world for the best part of a year.  I am doing the easy bit - helping to bring her home. 

Like the rest of the crew, I am taking the opportunity to raise money for Unicef, the official charity of Clipper.  It's a fantastic charity dedicated to helping every child in danger by providing clean water, life-saving food, medicine, health care and protecting vulnerable children from abuse.
