Story
Yellow Submarine are an incredible Oxfordshire based charity that have helped us as a family over the past 7 years. Being a kid in West Oxfordshire with autism isn’t all that simple. The support isn’t always there. And therefore life has been quite difficult at times. Yellow Submarine have helped Kyle in many aspects of his young life but have also given myself and Vivienne time to ourselves, where we know that he’s being well looked after, happy, safe and included . Thanks to Yellow Submarine, Kyle was able to go to a youth club by himself, without his dear old father breathing down his neck. And I was able to go for a run with my friends. It might not sound like much but trust me, it means the world.
So give a little if you can. And if you do, I’ll consider running in fancy dress 😆

Yellow Submarine is an award-winning Oxfordshire charity that believes people with learning disabilities and autism deserve to live life to the full. They tackle the problem that many people with learning disabilities leave school with limited life skills and as a result poor life chances. This often leads to isolation and being marginalised. Yellow Submarine projects start working with young people in community settings from the age of 11 onwards, to build their social skills, confidence, independence and ultimately their employability. At the same time we are supporting families and carers with respite.Money raised will make a huge differences in helping Yellow Submarine members live life to the full!
