Story

Thank you for reading my page.

A few years ago I lost both my parents within a 12 month period to cancer. So I did my bit and took part in a charity boxing match which I won. Thank you all to those that donated.

Fast forward to January 2021, I was diagnosed with cancer myself. It was a bit of a shock to be honest as I only thought it was a seasonal cold.

After having several operations to cut the cancers away, I decided I wanted to give something back and was training hard. But after the last operation  In July, I hit a wall. I lost interest in  everything and struggled on for another 5 months till I took a good hard look at myself and with the help of Eve my partner, decided again to change it all around.

I decided that since I like rowing, I may as well use it to the best of my ability and help people who may find themselves in similar or worse situations than I did and the best way I could think of was to get in the seat and start rowing and set my sights on cracking 24 hours as a target.

I'd like to raise as much as possible to help those in similar situations. I wish to thank you all for any donations you may give.
