Welsh 3000s · 1 December 2020

We are a voluntary Search and Rescue service covering the Central Brecon Beacons and the South and Mid Wales area. A 999 24/7 service operating in all weather conditions to assist those injured/lost in mountain/rural/urban environments. We rely on donations for the £60,000 yearly running costs.

Story

In January 2020 we took part in an endurance event in the Brecon Beacons called the "fan dance" where we raised over £1000 for Central Beacons Mountain Rescue!

So in the summer of 2021 David Williams, John Rushe, James Waite and I have decided to up the anti and take on the Welsh 3000s, which is a hiking endurance challenge in Snowdonia covering 15 peaks over 30 miles with a cut off time of 24 hours.

Please donate and help us raise money for this great charity.
