Bipolar UK is the national charity dedicated to supporting individuals and families with the much misunderstood and complex condition of bipolar. We support more than 80,000 individuals and families every year.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In January 1983 Bipolar UK held its first support group meeting. 37 years on we've got more than 80 groups UK wide and empower over 1,000 people a month a stay well and help fulfil their huge potential. We can only do this work because of our amazing 200 volunteers and the thousands of donors and supporters.

To mark World Bipolar Day on the 30th March and 37 years since we were founded I'm attempting to walk 30+ miles from Bradford on Avon to Bristol. Starting at 7.30 am I will be meandering along the River Avon for as long as my legs will take me. All money raised will go towards the room hire of our support groups.
