Story
As many of you will know I have been lucky enough to have benefitted from both a Kidney and Pancreas transplant which for which I owe nothing less than my life and will be forever grateful.
Many of you won’t know that I have a fear of heights but have been roped into jumping off a rather high hospital building on the 22 of September to show a small amount of appreciation for the wonderful support I have enjoyed over the past 14 years!
I know it’s no 100 mile bike ride or marathon so I’m not expecting and huge funds to be raised but at very least those watching will more than likely find my fear hilarious as will I once back on the ground, so any small donation would be genuinely received and seriously appreciated.
The Transplant Centre work tirelessly to offer as close to normal life to people like me suffering from Kidney and or Pancreas failure through the continued dedication of the staff and volunteers.
They also focus heavily on cutting edge scientific research and development such as cell islet infusion to cure diabetes, something caused by a pancreatic complications.
The Oxford Transplant Foundation is a charity that offers support across many areas of everyday life both within the hospital for funding research and general development of the facilities, for general awareness of the complications organ failure causes and obviously assistance for those unfortunate enough to be suffering.
