We are fundraising in aid of the Cronfa Betsi Fund (Registered Charity Number 1138976), the charity dedicated to enhancing health care in North Wales. Through providing equipment and by investing in training, research and capital improvements, the Cronfa Betsi Fund makes a real difference to patients, and their families, service users and staff across North Wales. The charity works closely with doctors, nurses and others in hospitals and health centres across the region to identify which services require additional support. In recent years the Cronfa Betsi Fund has supported a wide range of projects and areas including: ward refurbishments; cancer research; arts in health and wellbeing programmes; ophthalmic lasers and dementia care training for nurses. 

 

We are cycling to raise money to develop the surgical procedures available at the gynaecological cancer centre at Bangor which opened in September 2010.
