Story

Over 40 extraordinary athletes. Two great causes. One big Sunday...

Our motivation came from people known to us whose lives were affected by cancer, and the run has more recently evolved into a tribute to one of our number - Clare Latham - who passed away in June. Through friends and strangers coming together to do something special, Team Happy Feet reflects Clare's approach to life and gives us a chance to make a positive statement about what she - and others who we care about - mean to us.

We run in aid of two charities: Macmillan Cancer who need no introduction, and St Leonards Hospice, York, who care for people with life-threatening illnesses and nursed Clare in her final few weeks. The challenge is on to raise a big combined total for both.

We run on September 15th and are very grateful for all donations to the cause.
