Hey folks, thanks for visiting my Just Giving page! 🙌

I'm Simon (GlesGames host & avid runner) and this month (January 2021), I'm aiming to run 200 miles in total in aid of Special Effect. Special Effect use technology ranging from modified joypads to eye-control to help gaming be more inclusive for those who find it difficult to or can't use a conventional joypad. Their cause has helped so many people throughout the country and, especially at the moment, many are needing an escape from reality which gaming provides. 🎮

I'm hoping to raise £500 to support their cause and help even more people socialise with their friends and family through gaming.

I know how big of an impact gaming has had on my life and know that your donations will make a world of difference to so many people.

As of creating this page (Jan 7th), I've ran 34.5 miles, which leaves 165.5 miles to go. If I run an average of 6.6 miles per day, I should be able to reach that 200 mark by the end of the month.
