Paris Marathon 2013 · 7 April 2013 ·

Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.

Story

I have set myself a challenge for 2013 of training for and participating in 3 endurance challenges. My hope is that along the way I will be able to raise awareness, and funds for the amazing Cardiac Risk in the Young Charity. If you get chance please follow the link from this page to the CRY website and have a little look at what they do. Inspirational stuff!

To raise awareness/funds for CRY, these are the challenges I will be completing:

Challenge 1: Stafford Half Marathon (13.1 miles), Sunday 17th March 2013.

Challenge 2: Paris Marathon (26.2 miles), Sunday 7th April 2013.

Challenge 3: Trentham Olympic Triathlon (0.93 mile swim, 24.8 mile bike, 6.2 mile run) July 2013.

I am going to be using this page and also creating a blog which will be updated with training pictures and videos, maps and other information about my journey.

This page is currently titled as Paris marathon, however I will be using it collect any donations for the whole challenge, therefore the page will be kept open for donations until around August 2013.

Just £1 will make a difference so please donate using the website or by texting 70070 with the code MOSS83 followed by the amount (£) you would like to donate. (Texts are free!)
