Brain Tumour Research is the leading voice of the brain tumour community and focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. We are campaigning to increase the national investment in research to £35 million per year and funding sustainable Centres of Excellence across the UK.

Story

Simon was a keen cyclist, and post-diagnosis in 2013, a good cycle was his equivalent to counselling. He rode to many of his appointments at the BRI in Bristol from Chippenham, which was always recorded in the oncologist’s notes because it was so unusual.

My friend Brian Walker had the idea of a cycle in Simon's memory. Over two days a group of us will cycle from Solihull - near where Simon was from - to Chippenham. 210km. Some of us are able cyclists - some of us...aren't really (me!).

Brain tumours are the leading cause of cancer death in children and in adults under 40 - yet brain tumour research receives less than 1% of national cancer funding.

Please donate in memory of Simon, and so that, one day, there is real hope for others facing this diagnosis.
