I'm sure many of you are aware I lost my best friend and wife to breast cancer last year, Amanda was always planning on doing the Great North Run so I thought I'd give it a go this year in her memory.  Cancer Connections have been a great help to myself and my friends and family since I lost her, they have also helped another good friend and they need charitable donations to be able to help others in the future.

I know I've asked for donations before for other fundraisers, and I will continue to ask you for your donations in the future for other events, but I feel this is a very worthwhile charity that has a direct impact on the people around you who live in the area.  In fact, I'll bet that you know someone who has been helped in some way by Cancer Connections.
