Story
I've been running event races since 2007 which is also the year my mental health went seriously awry but that's just a coincidence ... honest!
What running has done since then is allow me an outlet to let off steam/sweat away from the rest of the world whilst listening to some of my favourite tunes & podcasts which is as close to bliss for me these days, even more than chugging on a nice bottle of red.
'Mind' are doing a LOT of good work of late to improve the conversations and understanding of mental health to help eradicate the stigmas that are still very much present even in our modern society through their 'Time To Change' initiative. I want to do my bit especially at this critical time for perceptions about mental health to help their campaign maintain its momentum.
Please give what you can and if you can't, I hope reading my story will at least help raise awareness for 'Mind' and 'Time to Change'.
