Every two hours someone in the UK is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. It can happen to anyone at any time and no one is prepared for how it will change their life. Aspire is a national charity that provides practical help, supporting spinal cord injured people from injury to independence.

Story

This is the end of my London Classics journey, I have ridden the 100 miles of Ride London over the Olympic road race course, dragged my body round the London Marathon route ( once i said, but who knew how that was going to pan out, Ask me the story and i will tell you why i will be on the start line again this year ) and know I'm swimming 2 miles in the Serpentine in Hyde park in London in a Covid world delayed from 2020, but  that's the point of doing something hard, its meant to feel good at the end, Most of you will know the my daughter George is a much better swimmer than i am, so she has chosen to swim as well, she is in the last group of the day in a 90min max swim time for 2 miles (lets make tough, tougher).  So Aspire need a few of your furloughed quids, just the cost of a round of drinks will make a huge difference looking after folks with spinal cord injuries. don't forget the gift aid box to get FREE MONEY from the tax man.
