Following the cancellation of the Grand National for 2020, ITV have announced that they intend to show a Virtual Grand National live on ITV at 5pm this Saturday.
With so many office sweepstakes not happening due to remote working, we thought it a great idea to run a virtual sweepstake with ALL of the stake money going to support the heroic work being done by the NHS in their fight to protect us against COVID 19. We have selected Kings College Hospital due to it operating the Intensive Care Unit where Floody's sister Lucy is Critical Care Matron.
So please join us as we try and raise £3,000 for our NHS (originally £400 - thank you!):
- Entries are £10.
- Once you have made your donation on this JustGiving page, please send us your name and email address so we can allocate you a horse (multiple entries welcomed). You can do that on our Grand National page at www.tonsleyevents.co.uk or by emailing virtualnags@tonsleyevents.co.uk. This is especially important if you donate anonymously!
- There are 40 runners, so we will open up more sets of horses (and more prizes proportionally!) if we exceed this number.
- You will receive your randomly selected horse on Friday evening (3rd April). We will keep taking entries until 4pm on Saturday.
- The prize is a bottle of bubbly for the winner and a mystery prize for second and third (we haven't thought of anything yet but promise that they won't be another set of skis or a 2002 Sony Playstation!)
