EDSA supports the advancement of education and relief of poverty of children and young people living in urban or rural townships as the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and crime, the abiding legacy of apartheid. We support creative and innovative projects and progression onto training/work.

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online - we may have hit our target, but the children in South Africa need as much as we can offer.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Education For Democracy In South Africa will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Well it's all over now ~ though you can keep donating if you want to! Our time in South Africa was awesome, amazing scenery and epic journeys all under blue skies, well apart from the first day! We also saw three of the schools where the money will be spent. Thank you to all who sent us out with gifts for the children.
There's a summary of our journey on the EDSA Web site; click here

When we've managed the technology we will share more pictures with you. Thank you so much for sponsoring us, praying for us and supporting us in so many ways.

For more details of the ride and the charity, visit www.edsa.org.uk and the final fling, the Argus Tour http://www.cycletour.co.za/home.aspx with results and pictures ~ just look us up by surname or race number 20749 & 20750.
