Story
In 2004 I had a serious car accident that left me with 2 broken legs and an arm broken in 3 places. These were fixed with metal work and I was looked after by the brilliant staff at Sellyoak Hospital in Birmingham. I spent over a month there and nearly 4 months in a wheelchair. But with a load of support from my family and friends, I recovered well.
Unfortunately I spent the supsequent 7 years of my life getting fat and making excuses. And a year ago I realised it was time to take control of myself and set about achieving something I'd be proud of....
So this is part 2 of the challenge I set myself at the start of the year (I won't divulge how many part's there are to this) - I could barely run a mile this time last year, and now I'm attempting 13.1 without stopping! Once again I'm going to try and raise some money for one of the most brilliant charities there is.
So if you want to make a difference and help to stop people needlessly dying from living in water poverty then I'd love it if you donated to my page. If you can relate to my story, please donate. If it's a Tuesday, then donate. if you know someone called Brian or Geoff, then donate. If you like me, then donate - if you don't then thats fine, but still not a good enough reason to not donate! :)
Thanks for taking the time to read this, 30th September is a really important day to me, and I hope you can show your support for me and/or Wateraid, by sparing a small donation.
Thanks,
Simon :)
