Hackney Half Marathon 2021 · 26 September 2021 ·

Every week we are referred babies whose Mums have died and are suffering due to lack of milk. COVID-19 outbreak has meant ensuring that we can get enough supplies of milk is a real concern, we need your help to fix that.

Story

Having followed a friend from University’s establishment of a charity in Tanzania, we’ve spoken about the charity’s work to Felicity at home. She has money box that she is collecting loose change in, to donate towards Pamoja Leo. However, the opportunity has come up for myself to run the 13.1 miles of the Hackney Half Marathon in May.

Felicity would like to match this distance too, so as a 3 year old from 1st May to 17th May, Felicity will complete the 13.1 miles (aggregate) too. All in support of her friends from her Pamoja Leo picture book.

We’d both appreciate any donations you can manage, to help newborn orphaned children in Tanzania receive the formula milk required to give them the best start in life.
