Bath Half Marathon 2022 · 16 October 2022 ·

Bath Mind are back with Team Bath Mind for the Bath Half 2022. We're excited to be back at this local event, with our wonderful team supporting and fundraising for us. We can't wait to see you all on race day!

Story

August 2022 update:

Here we are a year later having still not done the bath half marathon after multiple reschedulings of the race. Yes, we could well have done a different half marathon instead but NO! we are more committed to this particular race than anything else in the world.

Seems likely it will definitely go ahead this time so our training is ramping up once more.

Please donate if you can!

Hey, Simon & James here. You may remember us from Shrewsbury bedroom bands ‘The Arcadian Effect,’ ‘Betton Bullets’ and of course ‘Big Smoke.’ Well, we are BACK in the public spotlight to run the Bath half marathon in Bath on the fifth of September 2021 in Bath raising money for Mind in Bath – a little about them here and also at the bottom of the page:

“Bath Mind, [are] a local and independent mental health charity working throughout Bath and North East Somerset. [They] are here to promote and nurture everyone’s mental health through the provision of information, activities, advice and support”.

We all know how important it is to look after people’s mental health, especially at the mo so if you can afford to give a little then it would be most welcome!

Thank you in advance

We're Bath Mind. With your support, we can continue to promote and nurture everyone's mental health through the provision of information, activities, advice and support. Although we are affiliated to the national Mind charity, we are local and independent, and receive no direct funding. It's predicted that 1 in 4 people in the UK experience a mental health problem. But we at Bath Mind believe in the 1 in 1, that every person has mental health, and deserves to have access to support and services without the fear of discrimination.
