Calderdale Chiropractic (my company) has chosen Overgate Hospice in Elland, West Yorkshire as its charity of the year. The hospice cares for the terminally ill and supports their loved ones.  It takes £6000 of charity donations a year to keep the facility open.  www.overgatehospice.org.uk/home/

I have always loved cycling, I have a passion for chiropractic and I used to live in Paris when I was a missionary for my church 20 years ago so this seemed the obvious way to celebrate my  40th birthday by cycling 560 miles to Paris to attend a chiropractic seminar in French. I will be doing this event solo and catching the plane home afterwards. I expect it will take 5 days to get there.
