Story

Dear Colleagues and Friends of Simon Richmond

Following the very sad news of Simon's passing away, a "Thanksgiving Service" in memory of Simon will take place in Coventry Cathedral on Friday May 30th at 19:30. For those of you who are not aware, Yvonne, Simon's wife is the Canon of Coventry Cathedral. Simon's family have extended a warm invitation to all who knew Simon to attend this very special Celebration of Life service at the cathedral.

Simon was Chairman of the “Coventry Cathedral Partners”, which is a ring-fenced fund supporting the mission ministry of Coventry Cathedral. Simon was also an active member of the church having recently been appointed catherdral warden.

The “Celebration of Life” service will be a mixture of music, songs and tributes from his many friends. Simon’s wife Yvonne and her immediate family have specifically asked Hertz to inform the friends and work colleagues of Simon from across the Hertz Corporate and Franchise network that they would all be very welcome to attend this very special service.  Hertz Europe is arranging transport to and from the service for those who need it.  If you have not received details of the travel arrangments then please email Joy Sturgess (jsturgess@hertz.com).
