We‘re the world‘s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving and improving lives through research. We fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.

Story

Our wonderful husband and dad, Simon, died of Oesophageal Cancer on 6th February 2013.  This cancer is very aggressive and in the vast majority of cases is diagnosed far too late to be treated - it has a survival rate of 8%.  Occurence rates of this cancer are increasing rapidly in the UK. As a tribute to Simon, we would like to raise both awareness and money to support much needed research.

Thank you

Lois, Helen and Paul
