SM 300Km Run/Walk in aid of Sexual Abuse/Violence Awareness · 1 February 2021

Victim Support is an independent charity. We are dedicated to supporting people affected by crime and traumatic incidents in England and Wales and we put them at the heart of our organisation. We provide specialist help and services to support people to cope and recover.

Story

This is a yearly event spaced out over a week in February where organisations up and down the UK organise activities raising awareness and campaigning against sexual violence.

The week aims to generate discussion among the general public, statutory bodies and third sector organisations about how sexual abuse and sexual violence is not OK. It aims to empower victims and send out a clear message that the UK collectively will be saying ‘It’s Not OK’.

We are going to do a 300Km walk/run between the abuse team, and anyone else who wants to take part. We’re also encouraging colleagues to wear yellow on Friday 5th February to show their support. If you’d like to, please send a photo of yourself in your yellow attire to marketing@simpsonmillar.co.uk for us to share on our socials.
