Story
I started this page for Birmingham Children’s hospital for my niece Kiranjot.
Kiranjot was a beautiful girl who showed so many people what determination is, she was a funny, cheeky little character that always put a smile on your face. She knew what she wanted and what she didn’t.
Kiranjot spent over 3months in Children’s hospital after having a major heart surgery. She was born with a condition called hyplastic left heart syndrome and unfortunately she went through so much pain and complications that her body could no longer cope.
To see a child go through so many operations, medication, sedation, not being able to eat normal food was too much to comprehend. Even if she wasn’t feeling good she will still give you the thumbs up to say she is okay.
The coronavirus meant she couldn’t see her brother, her family and friends and had a very lonely time where only one parent could stay with her at each time. It’s been so hard for her brother too to not see his parents and sister during these times and we have held on to faith and hope that Kiranjot will be okay.
I started this page because I felt helpless, we couldn’t just go in and see her and be there for her and I know a lot of the staff at children’s hospital have had such an amazing relationship with Kiranjot and the care has been tremendous. To be thankful and do something positive during the difficult times I started the portraits behind windows and create memories for families.
To say a big thank you to the staff at Children’s Hospital I’m still continuing this Page for donations. If you would still Like a portrait please message me.
I hope our Angel is having fun in heaven.
Rest in Peace Kiranjot. We love you so so so much still can't believe your not here anymore. Xxx
