As you might know, I should have been running the LDN marathon in April 2020, but covid had other plans. Fast forward one year - and I'm definitely less fit than I was (I blame Furlough wine time!) but more determined and ready to raise as much money as I can for MS. So London Marathon 2021 it is!

I'm running to support MS and my little sister who was diagnosed with MS a couple of years ago - just before her 21st birthday. Although she's a total champ, it's a life-changing illness that makes life extremely unpredictable.
"Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an immune-mediated disease in which the body's immune system attacks the central nervous system. The CNS is made up of the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves."
There's currently no cure for MS, which is why fundraising is so important. In the last 20 years, MS research has led to major advances in treatments. We need to get close to finding a cure or at least treatment that allows a fulfilling life free from the symptoms of MS. The MS Society depends entirely on charitable fundraising and the support of the public and volunteers.
Fundraising in post-covid times is a challenge, so please feel free to donate sooner rather than later :) The sooner I smash my target, the less you'll have to hear my boring running chat!
Thank you for supporting me - and the MS Society. Pray for my nobbly knees. And, if you're in London at the time, feel free to shower me with Prosecco at the finish line 🎉
*Thanks to Dear Green, Halloumi, Big Bear Bakery, and Trespass (the outdoor clothing retailer) for kindly donating a raffle prize.
