Silhouettes sing for the Philippines · 22 December 2013

At times of overseas emergency, the DEC brings together a unique alliance of the UK's aid, corporate, public and broadcasting sectors to rally the nation's compassion, and ensure that funds raised go to DEC agencies best placed to deliver effective and timely relief to people most in need.

Story

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am organising a festive evening of live music to raise money for the fantastic work DEC are doing in the Philippines. The evening's entertainment will conclude in a live show by The Silhouettes (featuring Laura Miller, Annie-Grace Smith and.. Me!)

The event will take place on 22nd December, and you can find details here:

Even if you can't make it on the night, your donations would be greatly appreciated.

On 7th November, Typhoon Haiyan hit the Philippines. The most recent death toll as I write this is 5,209 people. There are many Philppines who still don't know where their families are, or if they are even alive.

This horrific incident has affected the lives of 11 million people, and they are all in need of food, shelter and clean water.

Please help by making a donation here on my page, and /or by coming along to my evening of live music and getting stuck in to the minced pies! Tickets are £6, which you can purchase either by donating the ticket money on this page (and writing a message stating your name and how many tickets you would like), or arranging with me personally.

Your kindness will be making a huge difference to the lives of those in need.

Thank you.

Milly x
