Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Now you are here you may aswell sponsor me for the Great Manchester 10k Run which I am doing on May 20th!

Why am I attempting this fateful attempt you may ask? Well I still do not have an answer for this; other than pinning the blame on friends that helped come to the decision at the beginning of the year, that signing up for this would be a good reason to keep us in tow of our fitness regime.

So, seeing as though training for this only commenced on Monday 30th April (after a panic attack on Sunday night thinking about it) I really do need all the encouragement I can get & ofcourse by sponsoring me, I can't back out!!

The charity I am raising funds for is 'BASIC' which is a based in Manchester; it helps patients & families that have been affected by head injuries. In memory of my lovely big brother, Brendan Conway, I have selected this needy cause.

He would actually be amused that i am taking part in such an event seeing as though he caught me doing a sneaky short-cut at another race in Heaton Park & as everyone else that knows me well, I do enjoy my food & wine, which certainly do not offer the best nutrition for such training! 

To conclude, I promise that no short cuts will be attempted & that I will run as if Peter Crouch was behind me chasing me for a kiss!!
