7 Marathons 7 Weeks · 20 April 2020 to 17 July 2020 ·

The arrival of coronavirus is placing continued pressure on our local NHS services in Leeds. Take on our challenge to support our major trauma patients and NHS staff during the challenging times ahead.

Story

A team of cyclists from law firm Sintons are set to complete seven each marathons in a week to raise vital funds for Day One.

Seven cyclists are taking part in the gruelling challenge which will see them each cycle 26.2 miles per day for a week, on behalf of charity Day One and its ‘7 Marathons in 7 Weeks’ fundraising initiative.

The neurotrauma team at Sintons, who are based in the law firm’s offices in Newcastle and York, have a strong relationship with Day One and are part of its legal panel of advisors.

In further support of Day One, the team of cyclists - facilities assistant Simon Anderson, client support executive Jami Blythe, neurotrauma consultant John Davis, head of personal injury Phil Davison, head of neurotrauma Andrew McGowan, IT specialist Michael Kealy and head of marketing David Pritchard - have all committed to raising funds through the marathon challenge, which they will complete around their work commitments.
