Story
Max is a very close family friend, his mum is one of the best friends, truely one of the best a girl could ask for and my own children call him their cousin, who am into argue everyone has at least one of those 'Aunties' in their life. Because of this I am stepping it up to try get him an autism support dog that would change his life forever and so much for the better. Here's a little more about Max;
Max is 9 years old, has two brothers and loves Doctor Who.Born premature he has already faced so many battles in is life and was finally diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in the summer of 2020 during the first lockdown. This was no surprise to Max's family as he had always needed additional support. Max was also diagnosed with global developmental delay, fine motor skills issues, difficulties with social interaction and understanding emotions.Due to covid and lockdown Max now struggles with the outside world more than ever and unfamiliar places can be quite upsetting. Max's anxiety and stressed causes melt downs which have been getting progressively worse and some have even resulted in injury. It was at this point that Max's family knew they needed to do what ever they could to support Max and his needs.We are supporting Max and his family to raise £9450 for a fully trained Autism Support Dog.
