Hi, I'm running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Target Ovarian Cancer in memory of our amazing friend Harriet who lost her life to ovarian cancer last August. Harriet was  joyful, silly, loving and the most wonderful friend anyone could wish for. She is greatly missed by us all who knew her. The race will take place on 1st August which would be Harriet's 33rd birthday. 

Harriet's diagnosis was stage 4 ovarian cancer and we lost her within six weeks. 1 in 50 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer in our lifetime and Target Ovarian Cancer are working to improve early diagnosis, fund life-saving research and to give vital support to woman living with cancer. 

I am not an expert runner by any means but plan to put all my possible efforts into completing this half marathon so please give generously and support this amazing cause.
