In Autumn 2023 my sister Linda was diagnosed with cancer, and life changed forever. Macmillan were a vital source of compassionate support for Linda, and her family, and me personally, through the most horrendous time.

They rely on donations and public fundraising for 98% of their income and it is important that we give back to them, in her memory.

Linda died in January 2025. As I try to come to terms with the immense loss of a beloved sister, I am joining Linda's husband, daughter, friends and work colleagues in doing the 26 mile mighty hike for Macmillan in the Peak District in July.
