Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are, once again, taking part in the Cumbrian Challenge for the charity Walking With The Wounded (WWTW).  Our intrepid team of Camels has signed up to The ‘Tough’ route which will be 23km and heads up Lingmoor fell, descends to the picturesque Blea Tarn and climbs Blake Rigg before heading for home, with a final total ascent of 1,250m.

If you recall the horrendous weather of last year's challenge then you'll appreciate the effort of all those involved (although we are hoping for better weather this year).

Established in 2010, Walking With The Wounded supports a pathway for vulnerable veterans to reintegrate back into society and sustain their independence.  At the heart of this journey is employment.  You can help them directly by making a donation to this page.

"I was in a very dark place before I was referred to WWTW. Without their support I don't know where I would be. I now feel I have a bright future ahead of me." Adam, ex Green Howards Infantry Regiment
