Marie Curie provides care and support for people living with any terminal illness across the UK. Our nurses work night and day in people’s homes and our hospices offer specialist care. We also support people emotionally, provide practical information, and match them with trained volunteers.

Story

On Sunday 19th September 2010, Scott Grummett completed the Great North Run (a half-marathon, 13.1miles) in 1 hour and 44 minutes.

Siona had to pull out on Sunday morning due to illness, but now has a guaranteed place for next year.

Photos of Scott's run are available on www.greatrun.org by searching for bib no 10464

On Saturday 9th October we held a Quiz Night in Willingham, the village we grew up in, in Cambridge. With 50 people there across 11 teams we raised £300!! Thank you to everyone who came and we hope you had a good night.
