Heaven has gained the most special Angel - World Yo-Yo champion, former golf captain, singing and dancing charity fundraiser, loving husband, father, uncle, grandfather and my Grandad Don 🤍🕊️ 

It’s impossible to mention “Sir Donald BCAv” without smiling or laughing - he brought more joy, kindness and generosity to the world than anyone I’ve ever known and I’m beyond proud to have been able to call him my Grandad Don. 

I once asked Grandad if he had one wish what would it be? And without the slightest hesitation, he said “do something good for someone else”, which I think perfectly sums up how beautiful his heart was.

With this in mind, we’d love to raise as much money as possible for DementiaUK, which will help them to grow the number of dementia specialist Admiral Nurses so they can reach more families affected by dementia.

We’re hosting a gathering at Formby Hall Golf Club from 1-6pm on Monday 24th April. Please let me know if you can attend and please wear bright clothing - we want this afternoon to be a celebration of his amazing life, which will no doubt involve a group sing-a-long of Grandad’s version of “We’ll Meet Again”!
