Story
In 2017 Bryony and I walked almost 150 miles from the Devon and Cornwall border near Bude to Lands End in one go over 8 days. It was the hardest, most hilarious and beautiful journey we’ve ever been on. This April we’ll spend just over a week tackling the 147 mile stint from Lands End to Rame Head on the Devon border. We’ll be staying along the way (with our other sister Monica + bf’s as our support vehicle when needed!), whilst trying to average almost 20 miles walking each day. If the last walk we did was anything to go by there’ll be plenty of sweating, laughing, delirium, tears, blisters, stinky socks and dips in the sea along the way.
We are raising money for CoppaFeel! as breast cancer has always been prevalent in our family. Early detection saves lives and we want to do our bit to help this awesome charity. Remember to check your boobies!
CoppaFeel! are the first UK breast cancer charity to create awareness amongst young people, with the aim to install a new healthy habit that could one day save a life. They are on a mission to stamp out late detection of breast cancer and ensure the nation is checking their boobs regularly. They want to educate people on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, encourage them to get to know what is normal for them and empower young people to have the confidence to see a doctor if they notice anything that isn't right for them.
