Joshua McCormack was diagnosed with a rare malignant brain tumour in October 2015, aged just four years old. Thousands of people around the world followed his courageous battle on Facebook, and he was dubbed a 'superhero' by many. Sadly, Josh died in January 2017. He would have been six years old in May 2017.
Through groundbreaking research, children's cancer research charity Kidscan, are striving for progress into new and improved treatments for children affected by cancer. Their aim is to give every child with cancer the opportunity to survive and thrive with appropriate, live-saving treatment options.
Vickie Mason wishes to complete 6 different challenges between May 2017-May 2018, in memory of Josh and other children that have passed away from cancer. As the Ladies Circle Area 35 Chairman, she is hoping to take on this tremendous task and raise £600 for Kidscan so that other children can benefit in the future.
