Story

Join Herefordshire’s Battle to Save the Rainforests. Protect the People of the Forests from Loggers and Gold Diggers and Reduce Climate-Changing Carbon OutputWe are raising money to protect and sustain an area of tropical rainforest the size of Herefordshire (that's 2,180 square km or 538 689 acres in old money).Visit www.sizeofherefordshire.org for more information. The great tropical rainforests of the Amazon are under attack from loggers, palm oil agri-business, oil and gas explorers - even gold-miners. The indigenous people who have lived in the Amazon rainforest for centuries are seeing the forests, which they depend on for their livelihood and their homes, are seeing destroyed wholesale in front of their eyes.
WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP? ONE STEP WOULD BE TO PROTECT AN AREA OF RAINFOREST THE SIZE OF OUR COUNTY.
