Sarah John is raising money for Maggie's Centres
Story
Jo Pawley (Head of the Employment Team at BP) has persuaded a number of us at BP to take part in a 10 mile night hike this Friday.
Jo was diagnosed with cancer a couple of years ago, and has made an incredible recovery, so we are all keen to support her in this fundraising drive for Maggie's Centres which provide support for those diagnosed with Cancer.
I appreciate that as a seasoned triathlete, walking 10 miles may not seem a huge challenge... giving up my Friday night out to walk through the night is most likely to be the hardest part, as well as fighting the temptation just to run so that I can have the promised completion breakfast a few hours earlier!
However, I really believe that this is an absolutely great cause, so would be very grateful for anything you can spare!
