Story

Our team of 16 riders and crew are biking the length of the UK to raise money and support a very dear friend and colleague.

Team JOGLE (John O' Groats to Lands End) will bike 968 miles over 12 days this summer.

Sadly one of our good friends and colleague, Nick Windsor, Deputy Head at SJB, died after a valiant battle with non-small cell lung cancer.

Nick was a passionate advocate of charity and service. After his diagnosis, we promised we would complete an event and attempt to raise money for the charity of his choice. Nick has chosen The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, firstly because of the care he has received there and secondly because of the phenomenal work they do helping children battling this terrible illness.

The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. We ensure our nurses, doctors, and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments used across the UK and around the world. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

Thank you for your kind donation on behalf of all the JOGLE riders and support crew:

Becky Shepherd, Becks Jeppeson, Emily Shelton, Vicky Sears, Kate Atherton, Ev Dolan, Faith Ruffle, Sophia Lovett, Sam Young, Jon Hacker, Tom Birch, Lewis Ali, Matt Walker, Dan Newman, Damien Kelly and James Granville Hamshar.
