Due to the unprecedented rise in deaths, SKT Welfare is working with Sadkah Jariyah Funeral Services to raise extra funds to help cover the costs of Muslim funerals. Covid-19 related deaths have been on the increase within the Muslims community, with the numbers unfortunately expected to rise. A typical funeral can cost anything from £3500 which covers all aspects related to a funeral service from the moment the person passes away to the burial itself. 

Urgent funds are needed so Sadaqa Jariyah Funeral Services can continue with the outstanding service they provide. 

Many people are financially struggling to bury their loved ones and unfortunately there are also many deceased who do not have anyone to cover their funeral expenses. 

SJFS is a non-profit organisation with the sole intention of helping members of the community, in their time of need as a form of Sadaqa Jariyah; a continuous charity benefitting the deceased and their families.

 - Immediate 24/7 response 

 - Private ambulance service

 - All collections and transportation of the deceased 

 - Arrangements of ghusl facilites & funeral fridges if required

-  Arrangement of grave and burial

- Transport to janazah prayer

 - Full administration and assistance with paperwork (green form), Registrar of Bereavements, GP, Hospital, Coroner and any cemetery team

 - Specialised ambulances also available free to any driver over 21 if family choose to do their own burial. Complete with coffin, accessories, tools and full assistance and full Islamic guidance. 

- Free service available to all Muslims.
