Well, I did it! I had a lovely day in the sun, ran a bit, cried a bit, had a lovely picnic, and managed to raise a bit more for charity.

Thank you so much to everyone who has kindly sponsored me already. If you were waiting to see whether I would finish the race, you will be glad to know I did - in about the same time as last year....the problem now being - do I try it again next year to beat my own time??!!

I ran in memory of my Dad, David Charles Piper, who died in August 2002. Whilst he was ill, the Macmillan nurses and doctors at Hillingdon and Mount Vernon hospitals were so kind, caring and understanding of what my Mum, my sister and I were going through, as well as providing excellent care to my Dad.
