I used to walk long distances some years ago, but due to ill-health have been largely immobile for many years now. Last year I decided to take control and regain my health back. Having lost over 2 stone, I am feeling fitter and looking to motivate myself to get moving again whilst doing some good in the world.

I will be walking the following challenges;

Easter Challenge - 25km on 11 Apr
Cotswold Way Challenge - 50km on 27/28 Jun
Thames Path Challenge - 100km on 12/13 Sep

I am hoping to raise funds and awareness for Prostate Cancer UK. I work as a healthcare lecturer and phlebotomist and have seen the devastating effect prostate cancer can have on my patients. There is so much we could do to help prevent needless deaths. More research is needed, better routes to diagnosis and more public awareness. I hope to help towards this and would welcome any support you feel you can give, no matter how small.
