Is this really my 3rd year doing this?! Bring it on!!

For those that don't know, the MS Trust is a charity very close to my heart. In our first year of marriage, my husband became very unwell and was later diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.

An MS diagnosis is devastating. We certainly felt lost, alone and uncertain of the future. It definitely wasn't something we expected to be faced with at 34 years old. The MS Trust was there for me though as I sat alone in the waiting room and they are also there for the 130 people who get diagnosed with MS each week.

As you can imagine, Covid-19 has had a devastating impact on charities as a lot of fundraising events haven't been able to go ahead so I'm gaming for MS:PLAY to help The MS Trust ensure that the 130,000 people living with MS in the UK today are not facing MS alone.

From the money raised:

• £6 could pay for one copy of an MS information book, which can help a person with MS better understand their condition.
• £15 could pay for one of our information specialists to provide telephone support to a person with MS.
• £100 could cover the cost to provide our Making Sense of MS guide to everybody diagnosed with MS in one week.
• £411 could provide an MS specialist nurse with publications and factsheets to share with their patients for one year.
• £940 could pay for our free MS Enquiry Service for one week.
• £1,765 could pay for a newly-appointed MS specialist nurse to receive foundation training in MS care, through the MS Trust’s development module.
• £53,000 could fund an MS specialist nurse for one year.

This year I have decided to try and tackle the 24 hours on my own. Now as much as I am a relaxed person, after 19 months of shielding and barely speaking to people a 24-hour stream is a little bit terrifying so please if you can, donate some pennies.
