Story

Jonathon Egerton-Peters, Olivia Bushell, Bev Smith, Elaine Game, Ndjodi Ndeunyema, Kiara Kottegoda, Mohammad Kazmi, Harry Smouha, Mustafa Mirza and Max Tranter thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

This is the 9th year that Skadden has participated in the Sleep Out event in order to raise money for Centrepoint - the leading charity in the UK devoted to supporting homeless young people aged between 16 and 25.

This year, more than ever, Centrepoint needs our help! As a result of COVID-19 and related lockdowns, the number of homeless youngsters is significantly higher than in previous years. In London alone, the number of young people aged 25 and under seen rough sleeping was 31% higher in 2020/2021 than in the prior annual period. This increase has been fuelled by the negative impact of the pandemic on young people's mental health, family breakdowns, youth unemployment rates and increased housing storages. As a result, Centrepoint's services have come under unprecedented demand.

All donations, large or small, are most welcome in order to help us meet our fundraising target of £10,000.

We appreciate your support to help this fantastic cause - thank you.
