Story

Skate Against Suicide is back!  ( 4 - APRIL - 2020)

For our second annual event, we will be doing a skate marathon (long skate) from Raheny at the entrance to Bull Island just outside St Anne's Park, to Fairview skatepark along the Coast road.

We feel that there’s a terrible problem in our country and globally with mental health illnesses and suicide and also that there is a serious lack of mental health funding in our country from our government. We feel we as people need to make a motion against suicide , we are hosting our second event .

We are inviting anyone on wheels; skateboards, bikes, roller blades, scooters to come and join us in aid of Aware. Last year we managed to raise 3000 for this charity in aid of mental health in Ireland and we plan to beat that this year!
