The Macmillan World Championship Coracle Race, sponsored by JT Hughes, returns to the River Severn in Shrewsbury on the afternoon of Friday 15th September 2017.

Story

I have managed, after a strict selection process to put together the first ever STORAGE KING team for this year’s World Coracle Championships taking place on River Severn, Friday 16th September.

The Team!

Mark - The Captain
Darren - Shrewsbury Store Manager
Melissa -  Dudley Store Manager
Sophie - Central Operations

It goes without saying that we are going to be crowned World Champions ( Maybe ) but failing that, we would settle for not falling in.

The serious side to the competition is to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support in Shropshire. All of the proceeds from the day will provide local support for the people of Shropshire from Macmillan.

Fundraising is hugely important to Macmillan. Without people doing events, running marathons, climbing mountains, and donating in all the other ways that you can, Macmillan wouldn’t exist. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.

Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs.
