The S&W team of Frank Akers-Douglas, Sharon Templeman, Chris Kenny, Nick Osler and Rohan Armes have returned from the Skiing with Heroes business challenge in Klosters completely exhausted but with a medal for the most funds raised for this charity.  This is thanks to all of you for supporting the team and this charity so a massive thank you for your donations.  

The 2 day event was hard work but a great success with perfect snow and clear blue skies.  We achieved 54 km in the marathon on Friday and managed the slalom event on Saturday with Rohan winning a bronze medal for consistent times so congratulations!  The event bought together able bodied challengers and wounded veterans with an overwhelming sense of commitment and enthusiasm.

The charity helps medically discharged veterans with life changing injuries get back to work through a specially designed ski-based development, mentoring and employment programme. Skiing With Heroes does some amazing work and the S&W team is aiming to raise at least £25,000 to help the charity fund its work.
