Story

G’Day mate, greetings from down under! My brother and I are braving the Southern Hemisphere skies of Australia and defying death by jumping out of a plane to raise money for The Salvation Army. As to not feel guilty for simply enjoying myself I thought this is the perfect opportunity to raise some money for my late Grandparents favourite charity - The Salvation Army.

The Salvation Army is a Christian Church & registered Charity working in 130 countries worldwide and is one of the largest and most diverse providers of social welfare in the world. In the UK and Republic of Ireland this work includes more than 800 Salvation Army social service centres and community churches. They provide unconditional friendship, support and very practical help to people in crisis and need and work with children, homeless people, all adult victims of modern slavery and those dealing with drug and/or alcohol addiction.

Our Grandmother was extremely fond of the Salvation Army and all the hard work they do for impoverished and suffering people all over the world. Our Grandmother passed away in 2018, as did our Grandfather 2 years later, and since Covid we have not been able to visit our family in Australia. This year will be the first time we will all be together since both of our dear Grandparents left this Earth.

In commemoration of our Grandparents, who worked extremely hard to ensure their family had everything they would ever need, we are risking our lives for a quick injection of adrenaline and to raise money for their favourite charity. So if you are able to, please donate what you can, It will be greatly appreciated.

This decision is somewhat spontaneous so there’s not a lot of time in between now and when we do the skydive (02/02/23) so please donate, share, like, spread the word as soon as possible.

Thank you for your time and thank you for your donation!
