Aimee's Fund supports palliative care services and those providing for critically ill and injured adults and children. We support Keech Hospice in Luton specifically. The charity is a lasting legacy to Aimee Varney, who was a nurse at Keech. She died suddenly on 16th June 2013, aged 21 years.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My daughter Aimee died very suddenly on 16 June 2013, aged 21 years. She had recently qualified as a nurse and absolutely loved working at Keech Hospice, a special place that she had been part of since the early days of her training.  A few days after Aimee died, my younger daughter set up a Just Giving page in Aimee's name to raise money for Keech Hospice .  Altogether we have raised over £30,000 for the hospice since Aimee died.

Aimee's Fund is now a charity in its own right.  Our mission remains the same: to raise money to support the hospice and to create a lasting legacy for Aimee.  My skydive is our first fundraising event since becoming a registered charity.  Please support me as I get ready to jump out of a plane from a great height!  Whatever you can afford is equally valued ... every little helps.

Many thanks

Steve Varney
